The free edition of Bloodheist, released this week, is 30-pages long and a full tabletop RPG.
Published by Graculus Droog, Bloodhiest is a game set after Dracula won, and the Undying Empire is built around squabbling, immortal vampire clans.
Players in the game are criminals hired by one vampire to steal from another. PCs can be vampires or humans but are always outsiders and not affiliated with any established Great Houses.
While that sounds like a set-up for a dark game, Bloodheist is a comedic setting, a gothic one.
The free edition has rules to play, character generation rules, six professions, twelve rituals that the PC thieves can access and the game’s remote system.
D6s are used in the game engine, with players building small dice polls and getting at least one 6 result.
Lewis Garvey is the illustrator, and the game comes in midnight black with corpse white and gory red highlights.
The full edition is 59-pages long, adds Dooms, tables and GM help. It’s only $4.99.
